Art and Craft - Painted Terracotta Diyas

STEPS

  1. Wash the diyas in cold water and let them soak in water for couple of 2-3 hours because when we soak in water the air pores become visible and it helps in painting them evenly
  2. Wipe them with a cotton cloth and sun dry it for a day
  3. Choose any fabric or acrylic colours and paint them
  4. Let them dry and apply a layer and varnish to keep the paint intact
  5. You can also decorate them with sequences
